Can anyone tell me the taxable benefit on a Company Car that is over 4
years old ? Does the taxable benefit vary according to business mileage
and value, as for a "new" Company Car ?
Cheers,
John

According to my ready reckoner car benefit for Tax year 91/92 is as
follows
Age of car on April 5th 4 years & over
Value Up to 19250 19250 - 29000 29000 +
1400cc or less 1400 3700 5900
1401 - 2000 1800 3700 5900
2000 + 2850 3700 5900
These are generally about 37% lower than the benefits for cars under 4
years old.
Tax your highest rate on the benefit in kind.
