Well the bottles of Calvados and Gin topped up the cupboard nicely, shame
about the hole in the car exhaust and it's just the time of year to have
to crawl under a car with exhaust bandage and gun gum, oh well could be worse.

Nigel.

Sounds to me like a case of 'bah, humbug' or could you also not face the
prospect of watching "The sea wolves" on TV yet again...

    Yes.

Yes -- "our Nige & Williams" video
-- IoM TT 1907-1990 video (for those into more interesting motorised
                                   activities)

Fell asleep during the Grand Prix highlights yesterday ... that must
say something ..... perhaps Nige (who I rate highly) just quietly
whined me to sleep. On the other hand, it may have been a different
    vintage of w(h)ine...

    Not as such!

Actually, here in Brussels we can't get ITV, and thank goodness for
that. We do get the Beeb though.

    Laurie.

    PS. I got pissed too...

Not the 'today' as in the base note, but I'm back now...

I did get a voucher for the 'Ian Taylor Racing School',
    which is based at Thruxton.

Some laps in Rover GTi's with instruction, then some FF1600 laps.
At extra cost on the day, FF2000 laps are a further option.

    Any comments ?

We sent my Father to the Ian Taylor Racing School last spring for his
Birthday. He thoroughly enjoyed it. As a bonus (i.e. due to him being a
tall person) he got to do his single seater stuff in the FF2000 at no
    extra cost.

    You should have fun.

    How tall is he ?

If I'm not tall enough, perhaps I'll put some fertiliser in my boots !
