My aging Audi 100 now needs a new Pedal Shaft for clutch linkage
but of course nothing yet found in the UK for Part # 448721315.
I know that German attitude to quality is to put 85% of effort into
fault prevention at design stage, whereas UK's is to have 15% thought
on prevention and 85% on cure, but it sure is annoying to have to wait.
Can anyone out there help? The clutch specialists have apparently
phoned about 10 centres from Colindale's onwards and outwards without
sucess. As I'm none too keen on 10 days plus sans auto, suggestions
are most welcome.

| Have you tried the scrap yards? Some of them will remove the pedal
shaft for you......for a lot less than the dealer will charge you!
