    Has anybody got any knowledge of JUDD (the F1 engine company).
    
    Do they manufacture their own engines, or buy them in. Are racing
    engines their only, or main business. Are they part of any other
    (engineering, automotive?) corporation. Where are they located?

    Judd build their own engines (although they originally came to
    prominence with a Honda engine in F3000). They are run by John 
    Judd and, as such, I don't think they are owned by a major
    company.
    
    Equally I believe that they concentrate solely on engines for
    racing.

They also used to make or at least build 1600cc VW
water cooled engines for the US Super Vee series.
