1507.0. "How much for an MG?" by TIZER::WILSON () Thu Jul 18 1991 15:59
Hi,
I will be putting my MG Midget up for sale next week. I've had the car
for a few years now, and am unsure of what it will fetch on the market.
Any thoughts on how much, and where to advertise it?
MG MIDGET 1500cc
YEAR: 1974 "N reg" rubber bumper model.
Although the MOT runs out next month, the car is in original condition,
and would pass an MOT without too much work. Everything works great,
although it could do with a couple of wings and a door skin. Apart from
that, the body is sound.
On a scale of 1-10 "10 being superb", I'd rate it about 6 overall.

| It might be worth giving Mercury Motors in Lundin Links a call. Don't
know their number, but they do up MGs. They might be able to give you
a good idea on values.

It's probably worth getting the wings & door sorted out before selling,
also get the MoT sorted. This will almost certainly add more on to the
value than it will cost. Also the delay will probably allow the
weather to settle and get people in the mood to buy a soft-top ;-).
