    Well I finally got to use the Kenlowe "Hotstart" engine preheater that

    What a change to be able to get into a car and have warm air on the
    feet and a clear screen straight away. No choke needed, just get to the
    switch for the mains cable about 20 mins before you want the journey to
    start. All I need now is a 19mile long extension cable so I can enjoy
    the same treatment on the way home tonight......;^)
    
    The only snag in the fitting was the need to be able to mount it with
    the top of the housing below the coolant level in the header tank (a
    fact carefully omitted from the sales blurb but emphatically made in
    the installation guide....... this caused a major change in installation
    plan, but nothing unmanageable. The package arrived by parcel post on
    the expected day and included everything needed with spare nuts bolts
    thrown in for good measure.
    
    All in all a well spent �90-odd.
