| Just spoken to the latest Vauxhall dealer, a "Cat" is indeed standard
now. I was told that there is no effect on performance (I dont believe
that in view of the comments in .0 and the press remarks about the
"cat" 16V Cavalier). Would use of "supergreen" boost performance ?
John (who's got one on order based on trying a non "Cat" car)

| When I picked mine up in August '89 the catalogue said that the
Opel Keadett GSi 16V had a cat as standard and the Astra equivalent
did not! Is yours an Astra or a Kadett?

I know it's not the right Vauxhall, but despite the aspersions Derek has
been casting, you can't get into the red on the Nova GTE the cutout
operates at about 6000rpm.
