Why am I the only person on the road who dips there lights before
anyone else (so it seems). I get the impression that drivers are
thinking "i'm not going to dip my lights until he does". So to try
and gather a bit of evidence on this last night I tried not dipping
my lights until the other car did. Out of the 10 times I tried only
3 cars dipped theirs first, the other 7 just left main beam on until
I had dipped.

Bit of a contradiction here!
If you tried NOT dipping, how did the other drivers leave their
main beam on until after you had dipped?
;^)

p.s.
I find that the other drivers dip late n'all, even on right-hand bends
when you can dip a little later anyway. What you really need is some
10,000 watt blazers that you can turn on AS WELL AS your main beam,
just to frighten the blighters!!
