Having suffered the agonised cry of a wounded differential for three years and the joys of endless oil seals melting away, allowing the delicate trickle of oil onto the brake shoes, I've finally decided to get a reconditioned rear axle. Can anyone suggest a "good place" to get the current one reconditioned or obtain an off-the-self chappie near Reading for an ageing 'B'? Jonathan

MGB Spares and services (An actual MG only garage) will I'm sure have an off the shelf, or reconditioned rear axle for sale. They're not the cheapest around, but they are pretty fair! Steve (A Midget re-builder) |
