After the performance (or lack of) of the AA yesterday (see notes on Noble 23!) can anyone recommend any other breakdown service? My brother-in-law is as fed up of the RAC as I am with the AA. (His chain broke on his motorbike, so he could give the a definite 'problem description' - and told them he needed a bike trailer - the pickup arrives - with a car trailer. It took almost 4.5hours before they got him home, 15 miles from where he broke down!)

Oh, I forgot to mention this. A couple of weekends ago I called the RAC out to try and get the Beast started. The problem was self inflicted (I didn't put the dissy back in exactly right), but the RAC man sorted it out and turned up within 30 minutes. That's the only time I've called them out, but I'm happy with their service, so far. Mark |
