    I'd like to get some information on wheels.  I'm doing PRO Rallying
    with my '83 VW Rabbit GTI and last year used a set of 14x6 Momo
    alloys which worked fairly well.  The tires I used were garbage
    and resulted in three broken wheels, one of which might be salvagable.
    I need to buy another set of wheels for this year's season and was
    curious as to what types of wheels are popular in the UK with
    rallyists?  I can get steel wheels, but they are heavier and tend
    to bend easier than alloys break, but I also have a nice set of
    ATS wheels which I have been saving for street use, but I might
    use them for rallying anyway.
    
    The good names over here are Panasport and Ronal, unfortunately,
    I can get them *cheap* for about $110 each!

    According to VOGON the RAC rally will be held 22/11 - 26/11 this year,
    don't know where it'll start though.

    I don't know if this is the right place but does anybody know where the
    Basingstoke Motor Club convenes these days. Apparently it used to be in
