905.1 | Hammer and Chisel | OASS::B_RAMSEY | Just 4 wheelin' | Fri Jun 30 1989 13:43 | 6 |
| A cold chisel and a sledgehammer will break the mortar bonds between
the bricks and or blocks. I would say 1 full Saturday would break
it up, load it into the back of a pickup and make a run to the dump.
You could rent a jackhammer but I think that would be throwing money
at a no-cost project.

905.3 | Looking for outdoor fire pit | METMV3::DRG | | Wed Nov 29 1995 11:19 | 8 |
| Hi,
I'm look to purchase a outdoor fire pit for our camp. I've seen some
that are modular concrete blocks. Does anybody know where I can
purchase something like this?

905.4 | The interlocking ones ? | FOUNDR::DODIER | Single Income, Clan'o Kids | Wed Nov 29 1995 14:28 | 7 |
| If you're talking about the partly rounded interlocking ones used
for retaining walls, I believe Home Depot has them. I'm not sure how
well they'd hold up to constant heating/cooling. I know that regular
cement blocks 8x8x16 send to crack up/fall apart after a couple years
of moderate use.
